Crusader
Games of Berkeley still had one of the original pewter "Crusader" figs, and I failed my will save to resist purchasing. I just like the heft of playing with the old metal pieces; every time you pick one up to move it on the table, the move just feels that much more epic. I've been trying to paint faster, get hung up on perfection less, and just get a Warmachine force completed. I'm the world's slowest painter normally, but I'm working to change that. It's been a joy in that regard to start painting Menoth figures. Their recommended palette is so strong it makes the paint-by-numbers style fun and removes all hesitation from the process, which is exactly what I need. Critiques welcome.
