I made a relatively late decision to go to this year's golden demon, so I only had time for one entry and chose just about the smallest mini I could! I wanted to revisit texturing on this piece as it has been a while since I did any. I worked from references with the aim of getting the face to look like Orlando Bloom, but it was so small that I had to admit defeat in the end! This is also the reason for the relative lack of colour variation in the skin tones. I wanted to get at least one freehand on the piece, and in the end settled for putting small engraved details on the dagger blades. I've included the highest resolution shot I have in the montage - no hiding! I had a great day at warhammer fest and I was delighted to win gold with this piece!
