hi ,the blending still looks to have sharp transitions between color,mainly the second crease.The paint looks chalky,try thinning,also the face looks dirty.I would give the face a very thin wash of a dark skin tone.I would place a mid tone color in the brown of the cloak for a better blend.I think the color scheme would benefit from some brightness,maybe a red or yellow somewhere.The base looks good but needs cleaning up around the outside....Oh and if your confident enough paint the eyes,it will always gain you a point...As for the varnish I always photo my minis b4 varnishing then they only get a light spray of GW purity seal..I had a bad experience with fogging and bubbleing with matte varnish that put me off.
Good job on the cloak. I also like the bone parts of the bow. You can improve the mini greatly by stringing the bow. Overall the face needs much more dramatic shading (does he have eyes?) Good base too, though the brown paint around the edge is awfully chunky.
