Zora, i agree about the base that have to be finished, as for the paint it look a little thick, but hard to be sure form the picture, if it is the case, always use some water on your paint, it is better to apply 2 or 3 very thin coat of paint than only one thicker, i never use directly the paint i always add some water to it, also it is easier to work when you to this... maybe use some wash on the sword to let the details come out or some ink if you have any... the blond hair or good tough because blond is not so easy to do... try to make some highlight on the armor and cloths! keep painting that is the only way to get better and better! cheers! First step to improve your score is do something to the base. Anything will be an improvement. Think of it as if you painted everything but the face. It's not finished so not tabletop. The sword has a stone look to it. Is that your intent? I think the fig has flowers carved on the sword. They should be painted or at least highlighted/shaded. If you don't like them, you could remove them.
