Nice colours, although I think that the plants look a bit "out of place" not misplaced, I mean they seem to not belong the place they are growing.
The NMM is smooth but I think deepest shadows will benefit the general sense of metal. This said, I still have never triyed to paint NMM so from me a ten on that for your close approach! ;)
