Empire Grandmaster of Blazing Sun (converted)
In my opinion, Grandmaster of Blazing Sun is one of the most impressive miniature of Games-Workshop range. The intrique details of his armour, all that suns, pegasus and angels covering each and every plate of the baroque armour, it all stand as epitome of pompous imperial glory. I tried to mirror some of the rider armour's design patterns on the horse's barding. And I replaced the original axe. It seemed a little too large (even for Warhammer, and that says something :-)). But mainly I felt that for the grandmaster of knights with blazing sun in their coat of arms, there in no weapon more appropriate than a sun shaped mace. :-)
