LOTR Ent #1

I don't know the manufacturer of this mini...Maybe an old GW treeman? I converted this mini for my LOTR "The march of the Ents" diorama,so it has not a base. I tried to obtain a sort of "old mighty oak".I sculpted the legs with milliput and remoulded eyebrows and beard with tea leaves. To obtain a more natural aspect I add branches using Thyme's roots. For the foliage I cutted the tips of "railroad trees" (made by ER DEcor) and glued them on branches.

THIS IS OUTSTANDING!!! The figure you have converted from is an old Alternative Armies figure...and you have really made this model fantastic! The branches work really well...although maybe the legs are a little wide (very picky though!)! Its a great piece overall...the twig on the leg is a great little extra touch! Overall - FANTASTIC!! I cant wait to see the diorama you are working on...PLEASE do put it on here for us all to see. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WITH US!!
