you got the first step down which is getting the paints in the right places. shading and highlighting are your next steps. a good flesh wash over the skin can do wonders for shading and then work on the highlights. also if you are not going to work on the base i suggest a different color for the boots. i dont know your intentions for this mini, playing, display, etc. . . but if its for play i dont think the base has to be done. if you work on these things then you may see your score improve. good luck and keep slappin' paint

This is your first female warrior? You might want to stick to male warriors then. I don't know if you had to much light and it washed everything out, or what, but there is no depth to this figure at all. Highlights and shadows are more then needed in figure painting, or else you get what you gave us, very flat and boring. Sorry mate, just keep trying
