Hey there ladies and gentlemen, dear painters! Today i want to show you my latest work, the bust "Nightwatch" by Nutsplanet. It resembles of course the Game of Thrones character of Jon Snow. As i love the HBO series and also wanted to try painting human busts (i only did a monster bust before) i wanted to give him a go. :) I aimed for a very realistic look, low contrast in his face as he is still a very young man. Color choice was pretty straight forward but i tried to paint him with desaturated skin tones to resemble the cold environment he walks in. I hope you like him!

"You know nothing, Jon Snow"... but YOU certainly know quite a bit about painting. I have not seen the TV series, butÌ´ve read the books and this is not too far away from my image of Lord Snow. The eyes are particularly intriguing, and I like the snow (in his hair and cloak, I mean). Facial hair also looks very convincing. Bravo!

Fantastic work, you did really well at making it as realistic as possible. For sure it's one of best miniatures I've had a pleasure to look at in this year. There is even one thing that makes me smile - if you will focus on sword... you will realize that it's jumping out of the coat saying - hello! - but it's just my imagination so don't take it too serious. :) Awesome job, keep up a good work!
