Empire Karl Franz on Deathclaw griffon
I choosed this older metal version of Karl Franz on Deathclaw griffon. The new plastic one is a terrific model and I like it very much but maybe it is little bit too much imposing actually. I perceive griffon as something like "middle class" among the monsters. Considerably larger than pegasus but definitelly not as large as a dragon. Which is really not the case of the new plastic griffon that (model-wise) actually looks like eating the dragons for breakfast. Whole regiment could hide under one of its wing. The immense creature makes the unit of halberdiers look not like a relevant fighting force but like a group of ZOO personnel to treat and feed the mighty beast towering above them. :-) I didn't want my griffon to dwarf the rest of the army like that, therefore I opted for smaller old range version. I hope you like it. :-)
