This miniature by Studio McVey was an absolute pleasure to paint, I plan on purchasing some more of their models. I am still learning, and any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated.
I think you need to focus on working on more contrast between deepest shade and top highlight. As an example I would try and go to a lighter highlight on the flaming mane. Even up to white on the tips of the flames. Bandages on the horse neck looks good.
As another tip I think you should try and pay particular attention to a focal point on the mini and spend extra time there. in this case the horse head really draws the eye so may look at working between more layers there to really make it pop.
