Thanks for your opinion. This mini was not supposed to be a display quality painting but rather a table top quick paint job.
Have to admit that my biggest problem with minis is the photo taking: in this case, the pics are a bit over exposed, making all that doesn't have a big volume on the sculpture look plain flat. Also the eyes, the eyes are still a problem to me.
I like the stylized look on his skin
Armor looks sloppy
Teeth need shading -- they contrast the hyper shaded skin so much it's jarring
The eyes need something.. I think the shading is in slightly the wrong direction and it makes him seem like he's looking up rather than forward
