It's great to find so many other people share my childhood memories for HeroQuest.
I now play it with my 6yr old daughter and she loves it.
For the bases I wasn't sure what to do with them because it had to be dungeon based.
So, I chopped them up with a craft knife and tried to paint them as flagstones :o)
I have done the same thing, and converted hero quest orcs in to a warhammer unit. I love how you did the bases! Did you carve the plastic or is that all paint effects! You did a fabulous job and I'm sure hero quest is 200 times more fun with painted minis!!!! 10 for cool childhood memories!
