I originally painted this back in May 2013. It was an effort to break out of my personal comfort zone - namely, drab colours (greens, browns, greys) - and make something more vivid. I decided to repaint it recently - I like the Mordheim imagery, and twisted it to suit. Not sure what took longer - painting the design on the cloak, or thinking of something to put on the orange sash...
