I am quite happy with the final look of my black orcs. I was attempting to make all of the bases fit together when the unit is assembled. It worked but the models are so thick that it is hard to tell when you are looking at more than one rank. Comments are welcome.

certainly a decent paintjob, and a like that you make the bases fit together, I do the same thing with my units, but I have to say I don't like bases completly covered in static grass, and I'm not to fond about that brown base without any static grass either

I have the same problem with my GW minis. It is very difficult to fit them together as a unit unless you carefully plan how to fit each piece together. The result is a crowded unit of minis. These minis look great and the bases are really cool. They don't look very crowded either.

hmm... too clean for me, no "orkish feel" :) also drybrush the bases with some lighter brown and try using less static grass - small patches look better. otherwise, gaming standard...
