It's Fabio after the "I can't believe it's not butter" people fired him as their spokesmodel. But seriously, nice mini with a great paint job. Your highlights are perfect and the 'real' metal paint is fine. I would have liked to see the scabard an earthier tone, and the base could of been better, but aside from those minor points this is an excellent piece.
What a good mini. Good skin tones too. It looks like he's just a bit sweaty. I like it. Incedentally, the scultor modeled this mini after me. I work out quite a bit. I must say, you've captured my skin and hair color perfectly. Very nice job on the trousers and boots. I feel like the metallics do detract some. You have a nice soft feel except for that. I'm not saying you should go to NMM, but perhaps mixing regular colors with the metallics to soften them up a bit. A very good piece.
this is a very nice mini. some of your highlights are a bit harsh but i dont think it warrants lowering the score. I just painted this mini (#35428) yours is far better than mine but I really enjoyed painting it none the less.
