Here's a better set of photos of my light-sourced Mephiston (original ID is 35170). These pictures were taken with different lighting and the colors are much more accurate.

I really enjoy the color that creates the lighting effect, however I have to admit that at first I was wondering if he was staring into a fire that we didn't see, or if it was from the sword. I think this is more from the pictures and angles than the paint, but I can't be sure. Good quality paint job, regardless!

The lighting effect is much more apparent in this pic - looks great! Lovely warm glow to the whole figure. However, I still don't think the sword looks like it's actually producing light - it looks maybe like crystal, but glowy objects are typically painted light-dark rather than dark-light (eg flame).

you've done this exelent model justice, great job. i love the dark, orange/red body it ties in nicely with the sword.
