Grenadier Dragon Lords Series II Guardian Dragon

Here's a view of this guy with some sunlight; a little better view of his wings and the colors. I'm still very much learning some basic brush techniques--trying not to use too much paint at once, trying to properly thin the paint, etc. All constructive feedback is most welcome!

Blood, thank you so much for those comments! That's one of the reasons I am enjoying this hobby so much as well, even with my very modest talents! It reminds me of those junior high days, playing the then brand new game of D&D with my buddies, and it was truly magical. I am very glad this had a similar impact on you, thanks!

This reminds me of growing up playing d&d and seeing ypthese wonderful tiny things called painted minis for the first time and being hooked! It's guys like you and painted minis like yours here that not only was the catalyst for me getting into this fantasy art. But all the time I see something like this it brings back nastalgic memories of such an innocent simpler fun fun times of childhood! Great work

Thanks Rothskin! I do have another pic of this dragon posted where I used a lamp to capture the shadowed areas a bit more, I wanted to see how the natural light lit it up for this picture. I'll check out more photography tips though, thanks!
