The bloody varnish went on all shiny, spoiling the effect of the dark black and red coat completetly. It does show even more on the scanner, too. :-/

I like the gloss effect, makes everything look like leather. That is appropriate for this mini. Good work, even if it was an accident!

Cheers. I've switched over to brush-on matte finish now, and it's a vast improvement over spray varnish.
