This is a close up of Merith of the falme. The base is a 'textured" base by Duncan paints called lava. The yellow "lava" is elmer;s glue and a yellow oramge paint mixed in and then allowed to dry.

Why is she so white? I think you had color balance problems? Some more shading in the fire in her hands would have brought them out more.
