You can also try working in revers : meaning after you get your base colors ...e.g. Mightily silver silver (your lightest color you begin with) then for example lay in the shadows by glazes of very thin washes .until you've hit the darkest wash in the deepest recesses. Eg red gaze really thinned down. Next a brown(darker than red now) laid into the ares closest to the deepest ones.then followed by purple/blue(now being the darkest shade and not that thinned down this time) and lay this into the deep deep deepest areas. But overal for tabletop a very good quality paintjob on these . I really like what you've done with the swords.
