I don't know why some people seem to find creativity so incomprehensible. Maybe this is a snapshot of the chapter before they were lost. Maybe these are what the LOTD look like when they're actually in the warp itself. Regardless, this is an extraordinarily consistent and masterly painting performance over so many models and I don't think many people could have done it. Well done.
The Firehawks got lost in WARP, got all ill and most of them died. The Rest of 'em became the LEGION OF THE DAMNED. But Nice Idea to paint the old sheme... Looks quite ok.
