Pick & Flick, 2 Headed Orc

Here's the er.... twins :) I sculpted this figure a good while ago now. Kind of a spur of the moment thing when I just though 'what about a good old-school mutant Orc?' The guys at coolmini kind of liked him and purchased the green from me. This all happened before I set up Spyglass Miniatures so they ended up being sold under the coolmini banner rather than Spyglass. And he/they are available now at the coolmini store. Now, then there's the paintjob. Okay, I freely admit this one isn't exactly up there with my best work. I was under severe time constraints as it was needed for the online store. Upshot? He got painted in little over an hour. Scary as I haven't done any real speed painting in years. Quite pleased with the muted skin colour though :) Steve B

Whoo, did I ever botch that sentence! "the belt for example doesn't have the notches for example" What was I thinking :P

By no means a bad sculpt or paintjob, but I've come to expect more from our beloved SJB. The sculpt lacks a few details, the belt for example doesn't have the notches for example. Still though, that paintjob in ~60 minutes is scary. I'd maybe have the basecoats done in an hour ;)

Great job for an hour or so's work. Love the skin tone on the flesh. Excellent sculpt too.
