Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. Oddly enough, I was going for that look. I find the large stretches of armor on big figures like this visually boring. Tank modelers often use thinned putty, etc, to add a cast texture to their work and I tried to get that myself here. A matter of taste, I guess - I liked the effect.
