Confrontation Scorpion Standard Bearer

I was learning to do 'Illustration' on the banner. For this purpose, I used the scorpion silhouette from Rackham packaging for reference. It turned out pretty good for this fig won 1st prize on standard bearer painting competition :~)

Very good job. Very courageous to experiment with freehanding. +1 for that. However, I do feel like you could have pushed the contrast further. Especially needed brighter highs.

I can see why you've won, but still I would make some more markings on the abnner to make it seem more magical/intimidating.
