Hi, This is the wonderful succubus sculpted by Steve Buddle. I've painted her in fiery / volcanic type colours, with the base sculpted to represent a volcano. I hope you like her. I tried out some of the new Tamiya inks on the sword and I think it came up rather well. Unfortunately the bulb has gone on my main light so I've resorted to using the flash so she's a bit shinier than in real life and also has quite a lot of unwanted shadow in the pic. Nice piece. I like the colours very much, but I think the blending had could be a little more smoother.

I really like the bold contrast and the expressive brushwork. It's a tremendous departure from the more common smooth shading. It looks like the fires of Hell are casting dancing shadows across her skin.

While I appreciate the scheme, the colors simply are not blended well. There is not enough gradation between colors. If it wasn't so harsh, I'd have given it a 7.
