These were some of my luckier entries for this years UK GD - they go a Silver in the Warhammer Unit class. The picture is a little dark, but I'm sure you get the idea. I must admit, I wasn't sure they'd get anything, even after they made the first cut. It just shows that you never know what'll happen on the day! Ultimately I think it proves that even in the Golden Demons you don't neccesarily need heavily converted miniatures - just a decent paint job and a little luck! Paul Capon

First class paint job! I went out and bought a dwarf army after seeing these longbeards. Best armour I've seen for dwarfs, perfect! makes it look as if they've been well "smithed"

these fellahs look great, but I think a darker base would suit em better. Like the brown used for their axes. by the way I think your silver medal at the demon was well deserved, my phoenix guard was also in that category and made the finals but didn't place. I spent a good lot of time on those models so if you beat them it means you didn't just get lucky but made some great paintjobs!
