This is the diorama that won me Gold in the LOTR movie scene category at Golden Demon UK 2003. All in I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The trees are all scratchbuilt from wire and milliput . Now to decide what scene from Return of the King to depict in my entry next year :) Steve Buddle

Nice work Steve a well deserved win and I'm supprised you didn't win more than you did from the photo's I've seen. As to teh next one I think Tammy has a very good point , even the wife liked that part of teh movie best.

Very nice work Steve. If I can make a suggestion: The moment Eowyn plays her card to the Witchking. 'No man can slay me...' I love that bit in the book.....
