You have managed to find all the things I dislike myself about this miniature. I over did the rust pigment for sure and the base could definitely be better. The dots were done using a find tip brush and darker paint first followed by a light coloured paint in the centre. Thanks for the comment though I appreciate it.

imo the head is very great, and the rest is also quite good (i like the dots on the exhaust, last picture.... how do you make em?), the only thing you could improve is your usage of rust pigments. on the back of his gauntlet, it looks very much like you just stippled it on the surface with a brush. and the ground could be in a bit of a contrast in my taste. :)
