Nightbringer - Necron C'tan

Gaming model done up for a weekend tourney. Another slop and go example. ;) The original ugly paint on the model was stripped first, then the c'tan was primed black. The base was initially thought lost, and then given to me at the last minute. The owner had started by covering the scarabs in metallics paint, but I hadn't time to strip it. So I left the scarabs and glued some real quartz crystals to the base along with some sand. Then went over that with brush-on primer and paint. The scythe is supposed to appear as a necron crystal, energy thingy defined from the arm. I'm not a necron player, but I *really* enjoyed painting this model. I love the smooth flowing lines and clean sculpt. He was fun! :D
