I think the lighting effect on the ground is quite a bit too strong. It ends up being a "Hey! Look at me!" effect instead of a more subtle moment of discovery for the viewer. Lots of painters do this with light sourcing. Less is more, in most cases. Other than that, it's a spectacular piece!!!
