This is a figure I sculpted for Games Workshop and I painted it for UK Golden Demon 2003. A very tough year and I was proud to come away with a bronze demon for her. The figure has had a fair amount of detail carved off to give surfaces to paint freehand on. I also sculpted new hair braids that are finer than those that come with the figure. Steve Buddle

This is absolutely stunning. In fact it's my favorite of all your work (and ranking in the top ten of all time favorites everywhere), and that's saying something. Pretty high on my drool-list this one :-) Love the green (my fav. color) combined with the red cloth. And the freehand stuff ofcourse. Great contrasts in the painting-job and nice and smooth (still jelous of you ;-)

Steve, Congratulation on the wins. Of the pics I've seen, this is my favorite piece from the UK Demons this year. Great work, and a well deserved win.
