Lots of detail - lots of time - ARGH - my first and only (so far) Confrontation mini was a bit of a nightmare for a painter who had only been at it for less than 7 months....
Yes, I agree, Confrontation minis are very detailed and sometimes hard to paint. So my advice to starting Confrontation painters is to start with the basic troops which often have less detail on them.
