The model is great but the paint job is messy and neglected in places. I actually think hitting on a good colour scheme for 'nids is a difficult thing to do - but purple, red and green all together isn't a good start.
I like the color scheme, but the white of the upper appendages does not integrate well into the whole hing. The red and the green are pleasant touches, but they show brush strokes too much the way they are, now. The highlights in the black look like they are from the way the figure is lit for the photo, not like they are painted. I would have liked to see those purple/violet details carried through, too.
