My problem with this picture is that these anime figures, with their big eyes, seem very childlike. Her hand up by her mouth emphasizes her doubt and inexperience, making her seem all the more childlike.
The pose in and of itself is not bad. It's bedroom material, to be sure, but not bad. The problem is you have a "childlike" figure in this pose. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just saying it makes me a little uncomfortable and it skirts the border of bad taste. The painting is fine.
