Mead: Thank you. As I commented on another picture, I´m in great need of rooflight and probably a light tent with some really dark background to take proper photos instead of using the camera flash and "day light".
Allister: Point taken but I guess the voting is primarly for voting on the miniature/diorama/paintjob, not the picture itself, right?
As you can all see my working area isnt the best. It´s complete chaos and I´m gonna shape it up. At the moment it´s a round table (former dinner table) since I havent had the money to buy a new desk.
Any comments are welcome as long as its an effort to help become better. =)
Have to agree with Mead - your paint job looks quite good (still think that the skin and robes are too similar in colour) but it is let down by poor lighting and positioning of the camera like many of the items in your gallery. Try retaking the pictures after reading some hints and see what happens.
This is an example of a decent paint job getting a poor score because of bad lighting and camera work. I think this would hover around a 7 if you checked out some articles on miniature photography and got some better photos.
