This is one fantastic scupt, I'm using him as a monk(wielding a very large "kama" mind you :P) in my thursday game & a major boss for my sunday game. I really liked painting him, the washes really poped his muscles out when I put them on. Makes number 5 of my minis so far.

I think the shine might have been my camera, as there seems to be no shine on any of my models. And I actually made the leather straps close in color on purpose. Though next model I do I may try going for more of a bright leather color like on his bracers

Not bad! The purples are very clean. To me, he is a little shiny and I would dull coat him. The leather straps are also a little to close to the skin color so they blend together.
