If this is your first attempt at NMM then you are well on your way to NMM greatness! One of my favorite GW sculpts and your paint work suits it very well, great job!
That face and beard are stunning! I would've gone with a 10 but for the pants, looks to me like you put all your thought/energy into the other aspects of the model... either way a great job.
