Tau Army
I wanted to create a Tau army with the look and feel of a Vietnam era US army, kind of Olive Drab and 'military'. There's something about that very simple colour scheme that's so familiar when it's applied to something futuristic and alien looking. The biggest part of the project was magnetising all the XV8 battle suits and related components but it was worth it in the end. Now each XV8 can accept any combination of weapons systems. I also took the time to paint the interior of the Devilfish transports and magnetise the crew hatches to make them open and close. Hammerhead weapons can be swapped for Ion cannons too.
