Which would you rather do? Buy and tend to armor, or paint your face blue and go tear-assin' through a dungeon on a kill-crazy rampage? I guess it's obvious which choice Gord made, 'cause his torso is bare and those aren't days or butterfly sitings he's keeping track of on his shield. You may notice that Gord wields not an axe or a sword, but a flail. Why? Because edged weapons are 'just too humane', that's why.
