She looked like a swashbuckler to me, so why not use bright colors? I've never added make up to my minis before. So I tried to add subtle lavender tones for her eye shadows and lips. I'm surprised how well she turned out. I never realised how well grey goes well with purple. The usual layering with mettalic paints are used here. I was curious how my bad NMM would look against my mettalics. So her symbol on her shirt was an attempt on that. Looks more bronze to me. But I think it looks good never-the-less. A warning to those who want to pin these gals. PINNING them are a nightmare! And they are thinner than fiannas. So be warned! My god. My usual paperclips were too thick to be used to pin their hands. I had to break apart my kitchen strainer for the wire. (yea, I was desperate that night. lol) Hope you enjoy!
