Toasted bananas... yum yum. So what if they smell a bit like gasoline? Had fun with this one, and surprised myself at not taking a forever amount of time compared to others. Figure part of it was mini being a single piece. Bananas are all Sculpty, and the skewer is just a simple map pin. Didn't really realize just how small he was until I was editing the pictures, so had to go back and make one with the penny. Bit disappointed I couldn't capture the eyes. Tried to make them look like a real chimpanzee, and they do! But they don't seem to show up in the pics. Contrast I suppose. Lesson learned.

Great atmosphere and story here..... the browns at transition points bleed into each other a bit, and his darker fur looks a little muddy, but a valiant effort for such a mini mini
