Mannfred von Carstein

A commission work. :) This time I'm focus on a NMM technique for more accuracy of the brass colors and also tried to painted a spirit on the cape with an OSL technique. I'm really happy with the result and hope you guys like him too. As always, any comments are really appreciated. :)

I don't think any part of it looks "cheap"... however I think I know what Zaphod's getting at. Certain parts (armour, sword, skin, horsehead, etc.) are highlighted and shaded beautifully. The other parts he mentions (ringmail, coat) are very cleanly painted and well defined, but lack the extra level of highlights / shades that would make them really POP! In comparison to the "nicer" parts, they look flat (but only by comparison). I would give this an 8.5, but an easy 9 with just a touch more contrast in certain areas.
