Well, surprise, it's a tree! ;) This model is actually not (!) a terrain piece, in the game systems (HORDES) faction (Circle Orboros) it is used as a cheap support model for the rest of the army, basically a range amplifier for their warlocks magic spells. A task it performes quite well! Privateer Press' default naked, dead, gnarly stump of a tree (you can see here: http://battlecollege.wikispaces.com/Gallows+Grove ) didn't suit me, thus I added some live to it using foliage and tufts. Gives it quite an idyllic atmosphere, which I find pretty disturbing. I like it...! :)

I like your work here (not that I am an expert on terrain). I'd love to use a piece like this in a game, the players would freak out!
