Typhus - Herald of Nurgle
This was my entry for the German Golden Demon 2003 (my first GD competition :) ). I had a slow start painting the mini and spent the last 15 hours before the start of the competition trying to finish this. I barely did, resulting in some ... uhm ... crappy parts. I am going to redo the left hand and will post new pictures then. Suggestion are appreciated :) Right now I am thinking something similar to the claw on Shroud's awesome Nurgle lord (hope he would not mind ;) ). Still I think this is one of my best miniatures so far. I spent a lot of time working on the metallics. Sadly the pictures fail to show the multitude of colors especially in the metallic areas (I always have a hard time photographing metallics and light colors, guess I should invest in better lighting). Comments good or bad are always welcome and thanks for looking :)
