Nice name"solarshimmer", don't be so upset that i paint dolls much better than you, just keep practicing and some day you may get better and won't have to hate everyone elses work. BTW thanks for your "honest" comment and vote very eloquent of you.
The splatter is a simple trick (tooth brush in red paint flicked above the mini). The shading is two-tone with no blending - again, simple. The gloss blood is glaze and the metal bits look metal because it's metal paint. This mini took all of maybe 4 hours to do, 6 tops. It's not bad, but it is strictly tabletop.
And I'm not sure what the snipe comment is about, but there is obvious shenanigans going on here. 500+ votes to a score above 9 for something that is strictly average (when most other have less than 100 votes) ... come on. NOBODY thinks the score is honest.
