Brothers in Arms

These are a couple of old-school Reaper dwarves (circa 1995), sculpted by Bob Olley. I traded for them because I thought they had some great dynamic poses and interesting surfaces for painting. I realize the hammer-wielding dwarf looks kind of like he's falling off the cliff. My husband told me that when I showed it to him, so I redrilled the holes so he'd stand up straighter. Then, when I went to glue him in, I used the wrong set of drilled holes! I didn't notice until the glue had dried, and didn't want to risk damaging the mini pulling him out, so now he's a little tippy. Haha! You can see some more photos of these guys on my website here: http://www.mamageekminis.com/gallery.html?index=55&gal=11 Anyway, I hope you like them! There were sure fun to paint!

Old school minis still look great until this day. The painting and basing are attractive. I do love this scene. It really shows that you were really fun when working on it ;)
