I think your advice re: the backpack is spot on. I prolly should have done it up as a lighter, canvas type color. The problem was I wanted to get every little detail on the pack, so i painted the pack, then the cross bow, then pinned the crossbow on.
Had I done them already attached, your observation would have been obvious.
I thought this was a Sandra Garrity sculpt. But I could be wrong. I like the splitting of white and purple. Never thought of that before. Scalemail looks good, so does the sheild. I'd say try to give more variety with colors on his gear cause all those browns kinda mesh together on his back. His eyes looks abit like staring. And I'm not sure if those are rocks or really huge mushrooms on his base. But overall, it's still a nicely done mini. Hooray for clerics!
