The weathering isn't realistic. Even in a battlefield scenario it wouldn't look like that. To me it's covering a bad paintjob. The underside of the missile launcher looks unpainted.
It's meant to be part of the Astral Claws last stand on Badab Prime. They were assaulted by 4 loyalist SM chapter and several titans. That sort of battle is gonna make a mess.
