Well first off it looks better to have some text on there even if it's not very good to have nothing there, secondly i do not have a very steady hand at all, so at the time that was the best i could do, i'm sure if i were to go back now i could do it better. Also i'm not good at any free hand, but you have to start somewhere. Plus it did sell for a good price and it didn't take a lot of time to paint. I am a little offended at the age reference, if you would have said something like "The freehand on the back banner ins't great and it could do with a touch up" then i would of agreed and taken it in as constructive criticism.
I have a question and it is in no way ment to downdrage your skills as a painter so please dont be offended: Why do you spend so much time painting a mini and then leave the text on the backbanner like its written by a 10 year old? I'd imagine its bad business if you try to get good money for it on Ebay. Miniature painting: 7 - Backbanner: 4
